Robert Mitchell has been making Western North Carolina landscape photos for the past 25 years. His images include everything from majestic mountain vistas to intimate morning landscapes. His prints have been exhibited in over 250 art shows, and have won awards at some of the nation's most prestigious art festivals. They have also been featured in private and corporate collections worldwide.
Good photographers use light to illuminate and enhance subject matter. What is unique about Robert's photography? It often uses light as the subject matter itself.
Since the print is the final interpretation of his image, Robert makes no compromises when producing his prints. They are made using the latest conventional photo printing technology, and demonstrate the finest quality, currently available.

Image Quality
It is impossible to convey over the Internet, the true quality of my images. Sharpness and detail are excellent, and can, for most images, be maintained in sizes up to 14x20 inches (print size), and even larger from the limited edition gallery.
I recently started introducing a new line of limited edition images. The main difference is that these images can be printed in very large sizes with unbelievable clarity and resolution-a must for institutional decorative prints or anywhere larger fine art pieces are required.
A Few Words About Permanence
Over the the past several years I have conducted tests on a variety of color printing materials. I can state, without reservation, that the modern conventional photo print has a place at the top of the most stable printing methods available today. When properly processed, using quality photo paper, the conventional color photographic print will resist fade longer than most other printing methods. Some of my prints have been around for decades with no appreciable deterioration.
